It contains unique iconographic material documenting the artist\u2019s works. Apart from texts written by the artist, casting light on his personal involvement and motivation, the book also features commentaries, reviews, and critical essays explaining the reading of the Monuments of Time as a relative monument within the category of contemporary sculpture. A substantial part of the monograph is taken up by \u201cIllustrated Autobiography\u201d, revealing numerous facts from Tomasz Doma\u0144ski\u2019s artistic life, as well as some details related to the production of particular pieces.&nbsp;The monographic exhibition of Tomasz Doma\u0144ski will also be announced, prepared by the O\u015brodek Kultury i Sztuki we Wroc\u0142awiu (planned for 2019).<\/p>\n<p><b>Tomasz Doma\u0144ski<\/b> (author, publishing editor) \u2013 born in 1962.&nbsp;A multimedia artist creating ephemeral art. He predominantly employs natural materials in his work: water, ice, fire, wood, straw, ash, metal, making use of processes that are characteristic of them. He is active in new media \u2013 video and digital techniques \u2013 introducing films and animations as integral elements into his works. In 1993, he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroc\u0142aw, and in 2003 he obtained his PhD. In 1995, he spent a year on scholarship in India, at the university in Varanasi (Banaras Hindu University). He received grants from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage \u2013 five times, as well as from numerous foundations, including the Pollock-Krasner Foundation in New York, the Laurenz Foundation in Basel, the Elizabeth Montag Foundation in Bonn, the UNESCO-Aschberg Foundation in Paris, and the Adolph and Esther Gottlieb Foundation in New York. In 1997 he represented Poland at the Ninth Triennial of Contemporary Art in New Delhi. In 2000\u20132004 he was a member of the Programme Board at the Centre of Polish Sculpture in Oro\u0144sko. He was nominated for the Paszport \u201cPolityki\u201d award. His works have been presented at fifty solo exhibitions and more than one hundred group shows. Since 2002, he has been carrying out his project of a symbiotic sculpture garden \u2013 WIE\u017bOGR\u00d3D \/ TowerTopia, in the village of Komorowice in Lower Silesia.<\/p>\n<p><b>Sylwia \u015awis\u0142ocka-Karwot<\/b> (author, publishing editor) \u2013 an art historian, critic, coordinator and curator of numerous projects and exhibitions. Assistant professor at the Institute of History of Art of the University of Wroc\u0142aw. Her research interests include art in the 20th and 21st centuries. Since 2007 she has been aligned with the Dolno\u015bl\u0105skie Towarzystwo Zach\u0119ty Sztuk Pi\u0119knych, of which she is currently president. She is the author of a comprehensive publication devoted to post-war art in Wroc\u0142aw: \u201cSztuka we Wroc\u0142awiu w latach 1945-1970.
