Lives In Between_
Sound*Architecture*Film and Dance meet in the work of HANS POELZIG and the history of OP ENHEIM
Live performance

The project was created as part of Berlin_forum kultury_Wrocław initiated and implemented by Convivium Berlin e.V., Kulturzug / Train to culture, Strefa Kultury Wrocław as part of the AIR Wro program – in cooperation with OP ENHEIM. Projects Lives in Between and The Space in Between are supported and funded by the Senate of the City of Berlin for Culture and Europe.

LIVES IN BETWEEN is an interdisciplinary artistic project dedicated to analysis and reflection on the existing similarities between Berlin and Wroclaw, based on the history and architecture of both cities. The aim of the project is to show the relationship between space, time and past, for which OP ENHEIM, as an example of a living story city, is an excellent starting point for further analysis, which will be devoted to the current and important in both cities architecture of Hans Poelzig – m.in. The Four Domes Pavilion in Wroclaw and the House of Radio (Haus des Rundfunks) in Berlin.

The idea of LIVES IN BETWEEN has been developed by an interdisciplinary Wrocław-Berlin team consisting of: Anna Katalin Németh (HU) – dancer and choreographer, Louis Volkmann (DE) – photographer and video artist, Jakub Olejnik (PL) – musician, Oliver Pinchbeck (GB) – circus artist and Darek Dzugan (PL) – musician.

The Wrocław organizers of the project are OP ENHEIM and Strefa Kultury Wrocław.

Lives In Between_Sound * Architecture * Film and Dance meet in the work of HANS POELZIG and the history of OP ENHEIM will be presented in Wrocław as part of the OP ENHEIM Open Day on 8th of June 2019.
