On Tuesday, February, 2nd 2016 at 9:30 am at ul. Jedności Narodowej 95 in Wrocław, we witnessed placing stolpersteines being tribute to four members of the Zorek family. To pay tribute to their ancestors, the victims of Nazism, the ceremony was attended by the Zorek family coming from the USA so that they could honour in person, in a symbolic manner the whole family, namely father – Warren, their aunt – Erna and grandparents – Alfred and Frieda Zorek at the last place where they lived. The Zorek family used to live in a tenement. The nearby building, where they ran a store “Kaufhaus F. Freund” was demolished.
