As a result of joining the forces of the OP ENHEIM Foundation, A5 publishing house and the Young Poland restaurant, a unique event was created, to which we would like to cordially invite you.
On May 5, in the Oppenheims’ tenement house at 4 Solny Square, the promotion of the book entitled “Social and emotional cuisine” by Anda Rottenberg. The meeting with the author will be accompanied by a dinner, which will include dishes prepared on the basis of the recipes contained in the book, conjured up for us by Beata Śniechowska (Young Poland).

ABOUT THE BOOK
This is a book on the border of culinary and art. It is the art of social cooking. Contemporary art connoisseur Anda Rottenberg invites her friends to share their favorite recipes and cooking notes together and enjoy a lot of fun. Artists, writers, actors and politicians take part in the game. But be careful! everyone takes the subject very seriously, the recipes are refined and taken straight from life, their authors cook this just like that. And although we have been familiar with the cuisines of the world for a long time, we are also very attached to what our mothers and grandmothers used to cook. We are familiar with prawns, mussels, avocado, but we also like beetroot and cabbage, noodles and donuts, we bake bread and cakes. What we cook is the result of our travels and very strong influence of family traditions. The book contains recipes for those who like and know how to cook, but also a very simple dish that everyone can handle. The following writers talk about their favorite dishes: Jacek Dehnel, Olga Tokarczuk, Andrzej Stasiuk, Krystyna Kofta, artists: Mirosław Bałka, Katarzyna Kozyra, Joanna Rajkowska, politicians: Barbara Labuda, Janusz Palikot, Magdalena Środa and musicians, actors, curators, critics, journalists . Over a hundred people in total. This is a great book to encourage culinary ingenuity. For reading not only in the kitchen!
